DOLGON
Nicole Dolgon is a partner at ESCA Legal, where she represents brands and designers at the intersection of law, business, and creativity. She earned her B.A. from George Washington University and her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she developed her focus on intellectual property and brand strategy. Before joining ESCA Legal, Nicole served as in-house counsel at ED Ellen DeGeneres and as Senior Counsel at Party City, experiences that gave her a deep understanding of how legal can function as both a safeguard and a growth driver for consumer-facing companies. Today, she advises clients across fashion, beauty, entertainment, and consumer goods, helping them protect their IP, structure strategic partnerships, and navigate complex commercial agreements.
In addition to her transactional practice, Nicole frequently counsels founders, creators, and companies on brand enforcement and risk management strategies, including licensing, influencer campaigns, and content initiatives. She is passionate about supporting innovative businesses and empowering clients to see legal not as a hurdle, but as a tool for growth. Nicole is also the host of Beyond the Fine Print, a podcast that explores how brands and legal intersect through conversations with leaders across industries.
