Who Should Apply?

We are seeking 2L or 3L law students who have completed coursework in trademark law, copyright law, and/or fashion law and demonstrate a strong interest in intellectual property. 1L law students with a demonstrated interest and relevant experience in IP are encouraged to apply. Our ideal candidate is passionate, proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct legal research on trademark and copyright matters

  • Assist in preparing filings for the USPTO and USCO

  • Support brand enforcement strategies, including takedown notices and infringement analysis

  • Draft client communications and memoranda

  • Engage in special projects related to intellectual property law

  • Gain exposure to TTAB and IP litigation matters

Role Description:

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the state bar.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing trademark law, with a demonstrated track record of successfully handling trademark matters

  • Proven track record of successfully building and maintaining a book of business.

  • Strong expertise in trademark prosecution, including proficiency in drafting and reviewing trademark applications and responding to office actions.

  • Experience in trademark enforcement and litigation is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.

  • Proven ability to generate business and develop client relationships.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
