Angela is seasoned patent attorney with extensive experience in patent portfolio management including patent preparation, prosecution, and strategic management of patents. She looks at innovations holistically to determine the best strategies to protect her client's innovations to the fullest extent by filing patents and monetizing patents using patent sales and licensing programs. She has successfully obtained patents for her clients in computer hardware and software, printmaking technologies, mechanical arts, medical devices, and consumer products.
Clients appreciate Angela’s ability to navigate the complexities of intellectual property while also being able to break down the complex aspects into more understandable steps and processes. Clients are then able to understand how innovations are protected throughout the entire process and balance business strategies with risks and advantages/disadvantages when making decisions about their patents and IP.

Angela graduated from Lafayette College with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. Angela received her J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School. After law school, she received her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University School of Law.
Prior to joining ESCA Legal, Angela worked as a law clerk, patent attorney at an IP Boutique, and most recently in-house at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Her experience is in patent portfolio management including patent preparation and prosecution and monetization of patents through patent sales and licensing programs.

At Lafayette College, Angela was part of the undergraduate research program where she performed research on Fuzzy Logic and Hexagonal Automata. Her work is included in multiple publications and presentations on the subject matter within the mathematics and computer science field. Angela was also a Division I Athlete on Lafayette’s Track and Field team.
At Widener University Commonwealth Law School Angela was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society where she competed in an Evidence Moot Court competition at Brooklyn Law School.
